"This is the inspiring part of our industry that keeps us motivated and yearning to produce our next event!"

Stress free... kind of life.
Just 13 days until HI-FIVE and SOLO grace the stage at Rhythms Live Music Hall and we can't be more excited. But, at the same time, we have to deal with the, significantly slower pace of the average customer purchase.
In the northeast, everything is is cranked up. Particularly in places like New York City, where the city, literally, never sleeps. You can find a slice of pizza or a hot entertainment spot anytime of the day or night. In Durham county, everything seems to shut down after 2 am.
While New York customers run to get their event tickets as soon as possible, in Durham, it seems like they spread the word about upcoming events, but ticket purchases are held up until the last minute.
Of course, none of this holds true, if there is a super star performing and seats are reserved. We have to find that stress free headspace, in order to stay proficient.
Stress Hampers Performance.
When your stress levels are high, you have a tendency to perform lower than your usual efficiency level in your behaviour. This hampers productivity too.
Maybe we need to see the wifey? When people in love, stare into each other's eyes, their heart &soul sync and become one.

This is all about love, friendship, family and celebration of life. You are all invited. Please leave a comment, so that we can get an idea of the potential attendance. Light food, beverage, and music, with time for any personal testimonials about your experiences with Samuel Blocker.
Samuel Blocker walked through the doors of the famed Harlem world Nightclub in the Summer of 1978, as a DJ/ rapper with the DJ crew called Teddy D & the D&D Express. It's leader, Teddy D, also happened to be an investor partner in the the club, but he had a true passion for music as well. Shortly, afterward, Sam met a young man by the name of Charles Leake, that frequented Harlem World as a customer. It wasn't to long before the two of them discovered that they had many things in common. Neither of them indulged in any of the typical negative vices, like drugs, alcohol, and smoking of any kind. This transitioned into a lifelong friendship.
The two of them, along with two of the house DJs, Randy sanders (DJ Randy) and Darryl Brown (DJ Kool D). Together they became known as the Harlem World Crew. For the next seven year, until it's closing in 1985, the Harlem World Crew was a key part of the club's popularity. They hosted tons of famous top selling recording artists, hip hop legends, and local celebrities alike.
Harlem World closed its doors in 1985, but the the men of the Harlem World Crew remained close friends. Throughout the following years, they continued to provide music and entertainment. As life would have it, DJ Randy, then later DJ Kool D would passed on. On October 10th 2019, MC Son of Sam passed away in his home. He was discovered by MC Charlierock, after after not hearing from Sam for several days, decided to check in on him. He call the NYC Police to perform a wellcare check. That's when they discovered his lifeless body on his bed. Life is unpredictable. Be sure to check in with those whom you care about. It could make all the difference in the world.

What's in a brand? Everything
What's in a brand? Everything.
Corporate branding refers to the practice of promoting the brand name of a corporate entity, as opposed to specific products or services.
The activities and thinking that go into corporate branding are different from product and service branding because the scope of a corporate brand is typically much broader.

Give Up or Hold On the Promoter's Delima
There is a situation that just about every promoter has gone through, at least once in their lifetime. It's that moment when you are faced with the question of whether you give up, or hold on. What does this mean?
Let us try to explain it. There are a lot of actions that a promoter has to take, when it comes to producing an event. Everything from putting together creative event concepts, that they believe are going to work.
Then there's performer and venue acquisition, contract negotiation, graphic design, radio, tv, and social media advertising, equipment resourcing, hotel booking, ground transportation, equipment load-in and setup, to sound check, and stage design.
Let's not forget Green room and dressing room hospitality riders, that must also be satisfied. The key to not going completely insane is organization and scheduling. Plus a dedicated, self-thinking, Production team to support you. While all of these things can be done by a single individual, life as a promoter is far easier, with the latter things in place.
